Application Recommendations Owens Corning Pink AF-FDM fiber glass insulation is intended to be wrapped around an inner core and held in place by an external jacketing material. Best thermal performance at all air velocities is provided by an impervious inner air barrier film. This film also acts to keep the insulation out of the air stream, reducing the possibility of further air friction loss. Specification Compliance Owens Corning Pink AF-FDM fiber glass insulation complies with the property requirements of ASTM C 553, Type I. Precaution Owens Corning recommends that Pink AF-FDM insulation be held in compressed roll form for no more than six (6) months from production date.
